How can I access the trail and route maps for Michigan or other areas ?

Hello from another Kalamazooian! Is that way we are? Kalamazooians?

You can download PDFs of Motor Vehicle use maps on the USDA Forest Service Sites. Granted these are for National Forests. I then put them in Photoshop and drew a 1 mile ring around camp grounds so I knew where I couldn't camp.
Did that last year until I started using GAIA and overlays.

You can also access the MDNR ORV Trail maps from here :

ArcGIS Web Application

Gives you some detail about which trails are closed and open to ORV vs just ATV.

You can also checkout GAIA for maps, as well as RAMBLR for some mapped out ORV trails/routes. The DNR website has a great listing of trails and routes, especially near the northern portion of the LP.
