Congrats! My 06 and my parents 04 are both nearing 200k and still running strong. I’m in the market for a 15 Pro-4x, last year of the 1st gens. The VK56 proved pretty damn reliable in the long run, and I love working on them.
I love my 2014 Titan SV. I just wish they had put a better rear axle in them. The first couple years were even worse. I noticed a small weep in the right rear axle seal and before I could round up the parts the whole thing imploded. $5000 later and it has a complete axle assy. from the u-joint to the wheel nuts.
If you haven't already remove the axle vent and replace it with a barb fitting. Run a length of hose up high in behind the tail light. This will save the seals and allow the axle to breath. Oh, and keep the gear oil fresh in it.
