I like this forum and joined for the reason of its not just extreme off road driving, extreme rock crawling, or just camping. My wife and I have been doing this 20 years, long before I heard of over-landing. We call it car camping, or camping. I like the idea of you can share, whether its off road driving and camping or pavement cruising with camping, Just get out and see your area, share with others, give advice, say hello to new friends. I am becoming more of an off-road driver and camper. Our first trip was RT 66 end to end (1999). That was pavement cruising and camping out of a pickup truck. My last trip this weekend was pavement cruising out to the OBX and beach driving, fishing and camping out of my truck. I enjoy this community. Thank you everyone.

Great community, and I am so glad I found it before I started modifying my 4Runner... my plans have changed drastically from what I thought I wanted to do, to now what I know I am going to do and more importantly why and why not! Thanks for all the sharing, advice and help! You overlanders are awesome!
Couldn't agree more! And on the downside, the forum has made me realize how good a vehicle my Jeep ZJ was...I love my WK, but now I wish I still had the ZJ[emoji53]
