Just a quick shout out to Ceg and the Liberty State guys for inviting JLLou and I out to play at the dunes. Had fun and met good people today. Thanks all! Hopefully we can get together again on other trails in the future.
Thanks for coming. I hope we can get together again soon without smoke.

Well it has been a while since I have been on here. A lot has been going on and life is finally starting to slow down at least for the time considering that it seems fire season has decided to show up. The 60 still needs the wiring completed however I have made progress. Decided to make the motor a standalone harness. Means I have about 15 wires to figure out what they are for and get wired up. Once that is complete I can start getting the coolant and vacuum lines figured out and then it will be time to see if it will fire. I was gifted new seats out of a bravada so they will be going in once I get the wiring complete. I am hoping to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel as this has been a 3-4 year project but life happens. I am always happy to let people show me some tips and tricks for anything and using peoples skills so that I can learn. For some reason I have not been getting notifications from any posts but hope that will change now. Glad to hear that some of you are still getting out even though this covid crap is still in our area.

Getting out there is the best method of social distancing , my vehicle should stay at least 6 feet away :). Keep at it Garrett, the 60’s are a great base for overlanding. You have an ambitious challenge but it will be worth it. We look forward to getting you out there on the trails with us.

Well it looks like you all had a great time throwing sand around.

I took a trip down to Oregon with a group of 11 other rigs.

We explored a couple old homesteads from the 1860s. We ran well over 100 miles of trail, some was rough, some was steep, and some was dusty.

Here are a few pics from the trip.....

Thanks for sharing this Lou.
I haven’t driven the road in several years, but @St0ll3n drove it a few weeks a go and said the roads are decent, wash boards are rough in places, but nothing to hard core. I expect it to be a realitivly easy day trip, lots of amazing views. It is hunting season, and MT Emily Summit is a popular road, so we need to be mindful of possible other travelers through the area.

I’m very excited to see you all there.

I took a bit of video but not many pics. I am sure Casey and Chad will put videos together for their channels.
