Nice set up! I've been trying to find a pic of a JKU with this set up, so I know how ours will look before buying the roof rack and RTT. Hows your roof rack holding up?
The rack is holding up fine. I abuse it terribly, so I have several spots where the coating has been scraped down to the bare metal. If you don't stay on top of it and get it painted quickly, it'll start rusting. But quality wise, it's great.

That looks great! I built my own storage also but I got rid of the 60% of the backseat. I dont haul many people around so it was just a waste of space for me to keep the seat in. Im very tempted in just getting rid of the entire back seat.

It's officially done!! I did not go with the speaker carpet cause apparently the guy told me that the glue would not hold up because of the heat in the back of the Jeep when the sun is hitting there. So I ended up using Duplicolor Black Bed Liner and I think it actually looks a lot better.

Awesome job. Been thinking of doing something similar and that came out great. Tell Dad ..."He Rocks" , love those father/son projects!

Great DIY storage build. Thank you for sharing the details and photos! I too will be doing a DIY storage system and reading through yours is a huge help. I was considering doing a 4 drawer setup like you did initially. Seems like a 3 drawer setup like your final version is the way to go. Love what you did with the space underneath the drawers!

That looks awesome! I'm working on a similar system for my work truck and my Tahoe.

Hey dude...I am getting ready to build my storage out in the back of mine. Your design is what I am wanting to go with. Do you by chance have the dimensions of your finished product the 3 drawer? height/ depth/width and what height you went with on the drawers? I am going to try and get mine built for OEE coming up. Thanks in advance.

Thanks brotha!!! I don’t have that rear set up anymore cause I’m doing my version of a goose gear rear set up. But let me check on my saved pics cause I think I have a drawing of it with measurements. I’ll hit you up with it.
