Aluminum is a great conductor of heat, you can pick up aluminum foil less than a minute after it comes out of a hot oven.I have a set and the arms surprisingly don't get that hot, even in direct sunlight on a 95 degree day.

I find this the best one too I like the the attached table saves the hassle of bringing chair and table around the campfire and it has a handy dandy beer holder dose not get much better than that...I have owned many chairs in my day. And many of them tore and broke and just ended up in the garbage. Them I found the Coleman Deck chair (minus the side table) and it has been the best camp chairs so far.
Pros
- comfortable, not sitting too low
- easy to stand up from the sitting position
- sturdy
Cons
- bulky, need extra room to pack them away. I usually strap them last on my OffRoad trailer.

I own a Kermit chair, and I like it. We also have a Pico chair that I like, but I am not sure how long it will hold up in sandy conditions.Check out the Kermit chair.

I love this chair. A friend of mine has one and I always sit in it when I get a change. Extremely solid. That's awesome! We're full-timers too, its got its challenges but we are enjoying it so far. (I don't want to redirect the thread so maybe we can start a full-timers thread in off topic.)
What chairs are you looking at now? The ARB chair has caught my eye recently: http://store.arbusa.com/ARB-SPORT-CAMPING-CHAIR-10500100-P22560C18.aspx
