Hey All,

Thanks for coming along to check this out, it's going to be a long drawn out build that I don't intend to rush. The Defender is such a good utilitarian base that's readily available in here in the UK that I don't feel it's going to need heaps of work to travel. I did originally aim to import a Toyota 70 Series V8TD from Australia, but funds are not all there and my previous Land Rover Discovery was a too impractical, it is a 3 Door model which made it difficult to utilise all the space.

The Defender is a 1997, 300TDi County model that has been used previously as a Expedition vehicle by the only owner, He took all over Europe and Africa to collect information on wildlife. Since it has been retired from his use it has had a fresh paint job, and a full engine rebuild plus some nice new seats, so it's almost like new again, now that I have it, I intend to take it all over the world, again!8be02236-7138-43b8-ae79-5bcaa70610ab.JPGIMG_4762.JPG

Awesome vehicle !!! Love my Jeep Jku but if the stars aligned I would be all over that rig. Very nice & very happy for your new vehicle. Enjoy.

Thanks for all your awesome comments! This weekend I’m hopefully going to remove the 2 lift blocks from my discovery and re fit them to the Defender..along with my 33” wheels, they’re going to poke out just a little but nothing to serious.

I’ve also got in touch with an auto electrician to come and transfer my duel battery system and solar to the Defender..I’m useless with electrics [emoji851]

Then I spent abit of time searching for a Bull Bar for my longer trips out of Europe that I hope to venture on in the coming years..I chose the ARB deluxe bar, which is almost impossible to get in the UK, due to UK LAWS..

Absolutely over the moon with how it fits and provides heaps of protection.

110's are cool! (LR Defenders in general are cool) :)

Can't wait to see what else you do to it.
