If Hamsters did road trips then this might just be the one.

Meeting at what used to be AOS (Adventure Overland Show) now called the National 4x4 something, the plan is to then on the Sunday, head to The south coast and grab the overnight Ferry. Mon to Wed is a route of scenic proportions to Bad Kissengen to attend the Abenture AllRad on the following weekend, this is Europes Largest, then return to the UK by Wednesday evening.

Overnight stops will be wild where possible, expect upto 2000 miles

Which part of Germany are you? We aim to get to Allrad on the Wed/Thurs. Via Eifel National Park - Hopefully.

If your undecided or have questions just ask. This is a nice easy long distance trip with stunning scenery and overnight stops, the route planned is some off the beaten track, gravel / fire track and A/B roads with nothing more than a UK motorway mixed in. Each day the route is about 300 - 350km's a good day's driving, but not stressful.

While the start point is set as the National 4x4 and Camper Festival UK we have others joining the group at Newhaven on the Sunday, with an advance party crossing on the earlier one and meeting in Dieppe in the morning, there will be a meeting point for this too.

In regards to the loosely planned route we do expect to have an overnight stop in the Eifel national park, somewhere.
