very cool.
i grew up outside of san angelo and pretty familiar with west texas. im surprised as to how many small ghost towns there are and how many abandoned buildings there are everywhere. i always wanted to drive around and film the ghost towns and explore more around del rio and comstock where the old abandoned railroad is. there is a lot of forgotten history out there...

It was.

Loved it there. Hopefully plan another trip out. But not without a gen and AC this time.

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing.

I'll never forget driving down 35 from Dallas to San Antonio a few years ago, shortly after moving from southwest PA to TX. I did it to see "hill country" and get a better sense of Texas. Very pretty once you get away from 35, but I vividly remember thinking "where are the hills!?" haha. Felt like I was in the scene from Dumb and Dumber where they end up in the great plains instead of the Rocky Mountains.
