I have had a Carry On that I have "planned" to turn into an Overland trailer for a couple of years, so far just added a low rack with kayak mounts, just too much work to get it where I wanted. This weekend came across a partial build here locally that I pulled the trigger on. Needs door and drawer completion, some paint and some interior trimwork to clean it up but solid trailer. All riveted steel panels, very sturdy frame and body, Timbren axle-less set up, CU Off Road Max Coupler, 21 gal water tank in enclosure over axle, level jacks on 3 corners and 3 35's. Going to do kitchen slide on starboard small hatch and big gear slide on rear door, middle shelf all the way across, kitchen and bar gear on Sb'd big door and living area gear on port for RTT annex access. Planning on at least 100W solar, charge controller, inverter, deep cycle, pump, instant hot and shower as well as kayak rack up top. Paid a grand for it so I think I did OK considering. That is actually a great idea..... I have the "cart" I made for home, would be cool to have a way to take them off and mount to trailer during a trip. Even if it was just for while the trailer was stationary.
