As vehicles keeping getting larger and larger it’s funny to think that a midsize truck is now bloated to the size of what use to be considered the biggest land yacht on the road back in the day and nearly the size of what a full-size truck use to be . When you get down to looking at actual dimensions of different vehicles it may surprise you . Just a little food for thought for those looking to buy a rig to fit their needs and being told one rig is to big or to small for their needs .3FA42062-B9B2-4262-B9F7-0F5A8A4F954C.jpeg1C92393F-3CD3-4D14-889A-9AD20247694B.jpeg4EC7ECDC-0888-4AB4-B397-177952A56F4A.jpeg

Agree 100% - people don't realize how Yuge vehicles have gotten. That's what I love about my '03 "Grand" Cherokee (aka WJ). Compared to modern stuff, it's actually not all that grand...

  • 181.6" Length
  • 72.6" Width
  • 70.3" Height (all measurements stock of course)

Yup. I remember having manual windows in my old 03 Ranger and being able to just lean over and roll the passenger side down. My Frontier? nope, glad I have buttons....

My 96 FJ80. 4 door, 7 passenger land yacht is slightly smaller than my 2019 ext cab, 2 door Tacoma. Didn't realize that until I had them next to each other.

And a frontier is still on the small side compared to a Tacoma or Colorado, almost a actual midsize truck
