Greetings all! Newly registered and joined as a member (no # yet).
Grew up in WV in an outdoors family. Camping, hiking, fishing, etc. Now work as an engineer in manufacturing and reliability.
Located in Northern KY, but travel frequently.
I'm working on my second overlanding vehicle. The first was a 2014 Tacoma, built for light overlanding/camping and she's still going strong with 130k miles--sadly, most on pavement. I learned quite a bit about what I wanted for my second, more dedicated overlander. Took a lot of notes, did a lot of research and am just about 8 weeks from the new rig rolling under it's own power. Its sort of a mash-up of 4 vehicles, Jeep TJ, 1 ton Dodge pickup, military CUCV, and a Frito step-van. Parts were culled from each and the diesel TJ8 FrankenJeep was born.
If you see me out and about, honk and wave!
