Is the end removable? Can you just change the chuck?
I'm not sure. I don't know much about air lines. This is what I currently have:

VIAIR 00025 5 in 1 Deflator/Inflator with 25' Extension Coil Hose, Yellow https://a.co/d/1hCxCFd
I had one like that on my viair years ago. If I remember correctly the chuck is not removable. It’s the whole hose or nothing. I replaced mine with a standard coil hose and quick coupler from the parts house

I was just out putting air in the tires, and noticed that my viair doesn't have a gauge on the compressor, only on the line, which complicates things. I'll figure it out though.

I'm out. Our 15 1/2 year old dog has been going downhill the last 3 weeks and this week she stopped eating. Have a vet appointment tomorrow afternoon for her, I'm hoping I'm wrong but I think she's at the end of the line.
Sorry to hear that. Hope it is not as bad as you think. Prayers your way. George.

I'm out too. I appear to have caught something, and being out in the cold is probably not the place to rest and get better. See you folks on the next one.

It was a great day to get out and adventure! Thanks to all who came out and shared in the fun today. Hope to see you next trip! George.
Can't wait to see some pictures. Maybe I'll hit you up for the route, so I can go and do it myself.

Thank you Geogre. it was a great day to be outside. Beautiful weather. Warm by February standards. We enjoyed the day meeting new friends and seeing new country. Waylon and Sam enjoyed all the new smells.

West Side Story

April 1,2

Time: 7:30 am

Meet Place: Owyhee Grocery 2499 OR-201, Nyssa, OR 97913

Destination: Owyhee desert/river

Estimated Duration: 2 days (Day 2 will be a long day on the trail so plan around that if you work Monday)

Estimated Distance: 140 miles (Owhyee, Or to Rome, Or)

Comms Channels: HAM=146.480, GRMS=17, CB=13

Zello Channel (phone app): SW Idaho Overlanding and 4x4

This trip will basically skirt the West side of the Owyhee River/Canyon from Owyhee, Oregon to Rome Oregon. Roads will be mostly two tracks and could get rough and steep at some locations. Maybe a bit technical at spots. Weather conditions could make things a bit slippery this time of year as well. We will evaluate the route as we go to allow for this as well. Be prepared for these conditions as best as possible.

If all goes well, we will visit an old ranch, camp at rivers edge on the Owyhee and visit Sands Basin.

This is not a guided tour and all who attend are ultimately responsible for their own safety. I am not responsible for damage, injury and or death. You partake under your own free will knowing the dangers of such activities.

Date change for this trip. Was May 20,21 now May 27,28

May 27,28 HooDoos! 72 Miles Bliss, Idaho to Bliss, Idaho.

Heading back to a cool camping spot with HooDoos. Before we get there though we have to drive some roads. I have 3 roads to choose from. Which road will we take? I don't know. Whichever one gets us through. I hope it is the first one since it looks to be pretty interesting. Even the second one looks pretty good. The last one could be boring, but hey it will get us to the cool camp spot.

Starting in Bliss, Idaho we head out into the unknown and hope for a road that will get us through to our camping spot destination. Road conditions could get a bit rough in spots, but I cannot tell for sure. If road conditions get too rough, there are 2 other alternate routes to explore. Plan on a full day on the trail. It is only 38 miles to camp, but it might be a rough trip to get there. Next day will be another trail that should be straight forward as we head back into civilization.

I am going to say that good vehicle clearance will be needed for this trip. Good tires as well. I have no previous experience with these roads past a certain point, so road conditions are a guess at best past that point.

I hope to see you on the trails! George.

Isn't that memorial day weekend? If so, I'll have to pass on that, as I have another trip planned.
Yes, it is. Usually, I don't plan things on the holiday's, too many people. I figure where I am going there will not be anybody. I had an event come up that clashed with the other date though. Sorry, George.
