  • Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

So I'm building my rig on an 06 Sportage EX 4wd. It's honestly a pretty good platform(not as good as a 1gen though). I put 40mil pucks above the struts but it's just a little low still. I'm looking to replace my struts as they are worn and due to be replaced. I'm thinking kyb is probably going to be the best to use. I'm going to couple that with a stiffer spring well if I ever find one that is. Anyone have any experience with building a lift for one of these? I'm trying to measure and match a heavier spring that right.

KYB's have always been a good shock for me, with the right spring package you can eliminate the spacers. Deaver may have something that would work for you, longer spring with a 5-10% spring rate increase.
