Well today was a nice surprise as my Emblem and Members Cap turned up after being sent out in the middle of December and presumed lost.

I contacted Overland Bound HQ a week or so ago to see if they could track the shipment and Megin jumped through hoops to try and help out but it could not be traced.

Ultimately Overland Bound HQ took the decision to send out replacements but as the caps were not in stock there was going to be a slight delay.

So great news the original emblem has arrived, no need for Megin to send out a replacement and a big " Thank You" to Megin And Overland Bound HQ for excellent customer service.

Thank you guys.

PS I now have to make a decision where to place the emblem !

It looks great, what about more photos of the rig?
These are a couple of recent pictures after I picked up the Landy and Trailer following a respray.

The Landy is 2001 Tomb Raider 90 Special Edition TD5 Engine and has a lot of upgrades over the years to make it comfortable for overland travel. such as:-

Dual Battery System with Odyssey Batteries
ARB Fridge
All lighting changed to LED to reduce load on the batteries and in the case of headlights so I could actually see in the dark as Defender headlights are notoriously bad.
Sill Water and Aux Fuel Tanks with Water filter / pump with tap and hose. Aux Fuel pump.
Rear drawer system.
Suspension raised 2 Inch and Medium Duty springs with ES9000 Shocks fitted.
Under body protection for Diffs, Steering guard etc.
Lockable steel cubby box with CB Radio.
Nano Com Evolution installed so I have instant access to monitor engine settings, see faults and warnings and monitor multiple engine sensors that are not shown on the dash.
Rear window Security Grills and Rear door Security Hasp for a padlock.
Hannibal Side Awning
High Lift Jack

The trailer I got a few years ago. Its an Ex British Army Sankey Trailer and it was very basic when I got it. A tub with canvas cover and beams to take an RTT.
Since then I have upgraded it adding Electrics, high capacilty water pump, 50l water tank. Solar Charging System. Raised the Tub and added a hard top.
Fitted a custom Rack to take the tent and internal LED lighting for camping.

That is most of what has been done. I have tried to keep the engine etc standard so when travelling in Africa I can get parts easier and quicker if needed.

Love your 90! Let me know if you're ever on mainland Europe and perhaps I can take a closer look. Trade for the day? LC for Defender?

Thanks NotGumby we are are travelling from Cyprus starting 3rd April going through Turkey and Europe to the UK. Timescale is around 12 months but I will be putting updates on here and on our website and FB Pages for family and friends.
Would be happy to meet up somewhere on route even if only to say hi and have a coffee.
Our route is also very flexible like the timescale.

Polaris Overland, I'll keep an eye on the posts, then. I'm in Hessen so perhaps we can intersect our paths somewhere.

Just looking at a tombraider 110. Temted sorly tempted match my sankey perfectly
Now that I would be interested in. If I had a 110 I would probably do without the Sankey. 90 is perfect for me on my own but the Mrs gets a bit miffed if I keep heading off on my own so the Sankey was the solution.
Have you made any changes to your Sankey?
