It'll depend on the formulation of the plastics each box uses but generally lack of carbon to help hold things together on the clear plastics will be less resilient. The clear plastic will become brittle at a warmer temp, Carbon helps with the UV damage as well. Same reason you don't see white or colored car tires, they'd wear out really fast.
