I Drive a 2003 4Runner and with it being in Michigan weather my engine splash guards in the wheel well have disintegrated to nothing. Is it worth spending something like $50 - $60 on new ones?

Well it's probably worthwhile to do so since it's cheaper to replace those versus engine components that will surely start doing the same once those guards are gone . Just saying...

+1 ^. I would have to agree. I have had trucks and cars with out splash guards or complete inner fenders and it's not all it's cracked up to be lol. Now these were not daily drivers and I live in socal so it was not as big of an issue but my off-road trucks that didn't have them were a pain to clean when I got back. Imho they are cheap ( well under 200) protection for things that could end up being much more.
