Could you build a swing-out up front like we do on the rear bumper. I had thought about doing this on my trailer. The landcruiser got in the way of that stage of the build.
The previous owner of my CDN M101 trailer mounted a stock Jeep spare carrier on the rear. Currently running 31"s on the trailer.View attachment 9403
I did install a 2" spacer for clearance between the tire and the trailer.

Sounds like you access the trailer from the rear so this type of mount may not be practical. You could look at a modified rear swing out tire carrier.
