I'm a bit of a surplus hound and enjoy adapting mil gear to other purposes. I had a $10 ACU MOLLE vest lying around and naturally started looking for uses. So I suspect you'll either be pleased or horrified at the following result:
I'm not a huge fan of ACU so now it blends way better. And with the rear straps cinched and threaded through the tire carrier spindle, it's a very solid platform.
And then the final result -- ACU MOLLE pack attached via straps and Grimlocs.
