I just finished making a prototype for a pressurized solar heated water tank for my rig. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to make it better. Thanks for the info
Pvc schedule 40, around 4 gallons, and yes it has been pressurized. It has a small leak around the water fill area but it is somewhat to be expected. I plan on only pressuring it while in use
Nice.. it looks like a very clean install. Does the water get warm?
Something that might be useful would be an elbow on the fixture end. Having the fixtures facing the drivers side instead of the rear so you can open the valve for water without the hose.
Looks well done! I'd be curious about the temp, too. I know it isn't going to be super hot by any means, but as long as it can get warmish, that would be good. A project on my list.
