Me, my wife and our 3 month old are going to be in Laguna in a week or so visiting her sister. we are looking for some easy day/ half day trips. my brother-in-law is just starting to get the bug for off-roading. what are some quicker baby friendly trails near Laguna? We'll be in a 4th gen 4runner and a Dodge 2500 Thanks in advance.

You'll be near the Silverado Canyon/Holy Jim trail. Pretty easy trail up the mountain. Nice little rock garden at the base.

I too was going to recommend that area as well.

If you come in from Silverado Canyon instead of Holy Jim you can avoid the rock garden. Take the trail all the way up to the Santiago Peak on Main Divide. Good local trail with a great view.
