Found this article on Car and Driver.com. They picked Six Classic/Collector SUVs you wont hate. I'm just surprised they didn't add the Ford Bronco and the CJ to the list.

The K5 Blazer was awesome. My brother in law had a orange one and that thing would go anywhere.

Yep, interesting read, but I'd say the "Scout" would rank very high if I wanted to spend money on an old one.

Those Ram Chargers were very cool !

If money were not a factor, my top 3 would be 1st gen Bronco, Scout 2 or Fj40.

I miss my 1st Gen 4Runner, but the FJ80 is a great upgrade.

Hi Dale, I'm sure you miss that 1st gen, I do like them!!!!!!
How did you have a white top and blue bottom?

I had done a rust repair around the windshield and sunroof, and then I painted it with a product called Rust Bullet. It's more of a silver. 4runner's are fun to drive, I miss having a stick.

I know I miss my 4Runner a lot. Only pic I have of it. Don't mind the goofy guy on the xr50 in-front of it (me).
