188K miles on this 2009 Silverado 4WD rig and still going strong. Seen a lot of forest service and BLM roads over the years. Decided to get an RCI truck bed rack and add a Roofnest tent for camping this year. Also added Rotopax and other basics. Still in progress. Soon to come will be LED flood lights on the back end of the RCI rack as well as an interior fire extinguisher mount and other items. This rig is basically for when I take my kayak and my friends kayak lake fishing in the high Sierra's. We can leave the kayaks, fishing poles, coolers, etc. in the truck bed while still allowing me someplace to sleep with an easy set-up to get out of camp quickly when we move to the next lake during our trips.

Also soon to come - I picked up a 2017 JKU that I will be upgrading with a lift kit, larger tires, new front bumper and some other items to get it ready for trips this year when I don't plan to be kayak fishing.

What are you using to secure your traction boards? I have a set on order and trying to figure out mounting options!

I made a DIY bracket using a piece of 1" wide metal plate and welding some 6" bolts to them. Then using a star knob to hold them on against a second (outer) piece of metal plate. We will see how long it lasts, my welding skills are not that good
