Hey, does anyone have any tips on what battery to go with for my dual battery set up? I already have a 2nd tray under the hood ready to go. The area is about 12" x 8" and roughly 7 1/4" tall and i'm having a hard time finding a battery that will fit. Has anyone already added a dual battery to their Silverado? Thanks

I ended up deciding against it, and running a northstar AGM as primary, until I find ill need 2nd battery. I'm eyeballing the 2nd tray for a location for my viaair compressor though!

When my primary Optima Red is done, I'll probably switch out to the Northstart as well. Seems like a lot of people in OB recommends it as well as the positive reviews I've briefly read...

What year is your Silverado? I have two group 48 AGM batteries in my 2011 Tahoe.

Umm, yeah me. lol
I had the extra red top Optima because it was in my last Silverado and I kept it. I figured why not add it to this one for additional power for my emergency lights. I don't use emergency lights anymore so I will be using it for my camper or possibly s backup start battery.

Thanks for your video above as well. I think I ordered a few things off your list that I didn't have
