Thanks to everyone that showed up last night to our social distancing outdoor in the cold monthly meet-up.

Training for the meeting was a review of ham radio repeaters by Dave Dingal.

We had lots of input into this years training and adventures, still need a couple of people to step up and take on some of the trips. PM me if you are interested in helping.

Training (dates TBD)
Weekend training session at Prairie City in the spring;

• How to pick a line
• Spotting
• Recovery

Monthly training at meet-up or one day sessions;

• First aid, bleeding emergencies and kit review probably May
• Tire Repair, a four hour session on a weekend
• Off Road Adventure Trailer show and tell, probably April
• GPS/Gaia practice session, this will happen once we can get back into the meeting room at Dennys.
• GPS/Radio practical day, Road course through several counties using GPS and Ham/GMRS radios.

Trips/adventures;

• Long Canyon cleanup and camping. Dave Dingal, sometime in June
• Anza Borego. Jim Forshey date TBD
• Rubicon. Ray Antar September 17-19
• Slick Rock. Pete Williams date TBD
• Lost Coast/Usal Beach. Pete Williams date will be spring TBD

Everyone had a great time at the meet-up last night, lost of members with awesome rigs. Toyota was the dominate vehicle by a large margin. One thing that was really interesting was what stage of build each rig was in, from just getting started saying I wont need much and I want to keep it stock to the person who said that several years ago and are off the the races with lots of mods. Next meeting is camp setups and Adventure Trailer walk-arounds.
