Good afternoon, new member here, so apologies if this has been asked before.
Does anyone use a Suzuki Sidekick as an overland truck? I have a Grand Vitara here in the UK, which I'm building as an adventure camping truck for my wife and myself. More to get out camping in it one or two weekends a month, although we are planning a three week overland/road trip to Norway hopefully next year.
I think I have the design ideas for it pretty much finalised, but I'd still be interested to see any pictures of smaller truck people use for their overland adventures.

Thanks.

I'm very excited to follow your build!
I'll be sure to do a build thread. I've had modified Vitaras for a few years now, but I recently sold my Calmini kitted Vitara diesel after blowing up the engine for a second time. I just lost all faith in the motor, so I sold the truck and bought the GV. It's a five door long wheel base, so I don't think space is going to be a problem. I have a design in my head for a storage system using Wolf boxes for storage, and with a pull out kitchen unit. I thought of building drawers, but the Wolf boxes allow me to easily swap out the kit to switch between camping and mountain biking gear, or what ever else I want to carry. I'll post a picture once I work out how, I used to host them on Photobucket but they've started charging to allow third party linking. Sod that.

Hi friends, I travel in a Gran Vitara and the engine is very efficient, and it behaves very well on the roads of Venezuela, they are very varied. I only complain about the space, but I designed a chest of drawers and a cargo space on the roof and I store everything in the campsite there.
