I wasn't sure where to share this video exactly, hopefully this works. Last weekend after King Of The Hammers we did some shock tuning. It was a great learning experience and I thought I should share the knowledge.

Off Road Shock Tuning! We drop some knowledge for beginners (me being one of them). We show you some of the basics of tuning your rebuild-able shocks.

Our RAM 2500 has a full Carli suspension setup but you really need to tune the shocks to your exact specifications. Meaning your driving style, how much gear you carry in your vehicle, as well as what comfort/performance you would like. There is no out of the box solution. Shock companies can get them close but there is always room for improvement. Hope you get some shock knowledge and basics out of this video!

People don't realize how true that is. With the mods we do, extra weight, tires... No two vehicles are the same. Shock and spring are critical. Manufactures can try to get close but they cant know what your changing, how or where you drive. Then there's the shorter life span from dirt road driving. Most people don't understand how fast a shock wears out off road, even if your not racing.

100% True! Thats why we will do many shock rebuilding sessions, to valve but also to keep them in good shape. Nice not having to ever have to replace the shocks again.
