Sequoia Natl. Forest - Winter

I'm thinking about heading to Sequoia National Forest sometime this winter and was curious what to expect. Are the forest roads closed all winter like they are up north(Stanislaus area)? Any snow on the ground? Sights to see? Camping recommendations?

I haven't been in Sequoia NF this late in the year but I think many of the roads end up closing due to snow. If you check the national forest's website they may be able to provide more information or simply call the ranger station - they'll be happy to help you out.

We were there last year and all the trails were closed.
There were some nice trails by Lake Isabella.
