We just got a notification that our Slimline front bumper has been shipped from Southern Style Offroad and we should be receiving it Monday! Have any of you installed one of these bumpers before and can alert us of any potential "hang ups" or things to watch out for? They have wonderful, illustrated instructions on how to do it but we're looking for "real world" experience before we tackle it.pic5.jpg

Mine should be here in 4 weeks or so, I can't offer any advice but good luck! I thought there was a "decent" YouTube video out there for the SSO bumper.

Measure twice, cut once. My SSO, on a tacoma, had a little different cutting guidelines than the instructions, according to the TW forum users that had done it already. I suggest checking T4R forum and see what they have to say. The installation of the winch should be done before installing and not later, and it wasn't easy, it can't be stolen but it took some small hands and some handy tool work. Love mine, I'm sure you will love yours!

Thanks! I'll check into it.

Hey guys, just checking in to see if there was any update on your install. I am in the market for a new front bumper set up for my 5th gen and looking at my options.
