This trip consisted of:
@Codeman Tacoma, leader and wrong turn giver
@Buzzbee17 FJ Cruiser , north Idaho expert and sacrificial ear for the kids many musings.
@Sapper7 resident Army engineer and owner of 1st jeep
@AcJ owners of 2nd jeep and official debunker for Dave's anti jeep slurs!
@G.Goodwin 3rd gen 4 Runner resident baristas and parents of chainsaw baby
@Señor Steve 5th gen 4 Runner resident dentist and Mr mom
@A.Desert.Creature final jeep(thank God) and refugee from the wetlands
@AzzyRnr 5th gen 4 Runner owner of creamsicle butt. And fellow dusty Dude...
And @PapaDave 5'of glory himself, sir plug a lot, DA BUTT! 3rd gen tundra and advocate for fair treatment of Subaru's and collector of slightly used Bronco tires.
I'll let others add in what happened before we showed, but here is what we got to experience
So Nat and I were late to the party due to getting off work late. So we took a small shortcut out of Kellogg ID. Views hit almost immediately
Ran into a tree stand that creeped Natalie out
We made it to camp for sunset, but didn't take any pictures was we wanted to set up camp with as much light as we could.
Next day @Codeman led us through some of the best forest service roads Northern Idaho has to offer. (The photos are out of order... Deal with it )
the dogs were chilling
Epic camp with an epic taco bar and conversation. Full glamp in effect (no pics just in the moment)
Oh and got home and found this... Still holding Air... but a small dose of karma for giving Dave such a hard time
Ok now to the trip ratings
First terrain difficulty. 1 SBT-5 SBT (stupid bronco tires)
Pretty easy route, definitely Subaru rated. 1SBT
Dust:
Definitely double Ds. (dusty Dudes)
Weather:
couldn't have been better
Camp sites :
2 of 2 Dave faces
Food:
scale from mre to steak and potatoes.... Full taco bar!
Fires: 1-5 cords of glory?
5 cords of Glory
Overall... 2 out of 2 exhausted dogs would recommend
