Hi overlanders!
I just purchased this beautiful Tacoma in Salt Lake City. I am looking for info on the past member /owner and where it was built in California
Member # 10895 ..
thanks
Craig
I would reach out where you bought it to see if tbat person may be willing to give info or be contacted. I would only expect the member to say anything if they are willing, everyone else should respect that person's privacy. Anyone can find a picture/number and post it to try and get personal information for someone.

Yes I have reached out to the private party i bought it from and the small family business he bought it from. I certainly do not wish to invade the privacy of the person that had it built ..
just wanted to put it out there..
figured I would give it a day and pull the post down
Thanks!

Not for nothing, but isnt this made easy enough? Just click on the MENU (top left), scroll down to MEMBERS section and click on it. From inside the members section, go to the SEARCH feature, and plug that number in.

If they were " hiding" they would not have purchased a medallion and posted here with that number in their profile.

You dont have to invade their privacy by trying to reach them...just scroll through that profile's posts here and they may have explained all about the truck build and where they've been with it.

Well thank u I am new to this scene and was a little bummed that I broke some rules on my first post!
I downloaded this app last year in the suggestion of a friend that loves it.. I was using to help with the planning of my Motorcycle trip to Tuktoyuktuk Northwest Territories… the only road in North America that u can drive to the Arctic Ocean .. we rode nearly 6000 miles in 23 days , 1500 of that on the infamous Dempster Hwy other wise known as the Death Gravel Express we also rode the Top of the World hwy all gravel from Dawson City Yukon to Chicken Alaska just as a 250 mile warm up day trio the day before we head up to Tuk! Plenty of Overland rigs up there! But I must say traveling by motorcycle is the Bomb .. everything is strapped on and away we go! No cozy set up at the end of a long day in the land of the midnight sun Tho!!
So thank you for your kind reply .. I would be delighted to hear my old rig was about to get loved up by someone!
Is there wanted section on this app? My skid plate seems to have been removed somewhere along the way .. think I am the 4 th owner!
If any members r curious about the Dempster I would be happy to to chat! I plan to ride up there again this year but at some point will be taking this Tacoma to such a remote places
Cheers and Thank you for your suggestion!! I would love to find out more about This beauty!

Sounds like an amazing trip!

I dont think you broke any rules on posting here, merely the age old "I have the world at my fingertips and didnt bother to use the search function first" syndrome that seems to afflict many.

It's a good site. Take some time to browse. That's how I figure out different equipment or routes that might work with my travels.
