Sounds like the Feb 22 trail run and cleanup might be our February event. @WhatTheZo posted a screenshot of the flyer a few replies up.

I am also interested in this. I have heard Lake Cuyamaca but not sure how the camping side of things is around there.Anybody know of a trail/camping spot that I could do some fly fishing for trout within like 3-4 hrs from SD?

I like the color with the TRD Pro rim caps. What brand of rock sliders are those?Hey ladies and gents! Been trolling this thread for quite some time now and finally got my rig so I can join you guys on some meetups and trail runs. Looking forward to the next event and meeting everyone.View attachment 138910

The Owens Valley is a bit more than 4 hours (probably more like 5) but has good fly fishing. Never been camping up that way but there are sure to be plenty of places up and down the 395.Anybody know of a trail/camping spot that I could do some fly fishing for trout within like 3-4 hrs from SD?
Tyger, it’s an amazon brand. Couldn’t stomach spending a grand on the C4 fab ones.I like the color with the TRD Pro rim caps. What brand of rock sliders are those?

Not sure where, but if anyone still wanted to meet up this week we can try to find a place that works well for everyone.Where’s the next meetup?
Make sure you know which trails you plan on running in Corral Canyon. I was out there a few months ago and all 5 rigs in our group took body damage and one broke a CV on Sidewinder. So some of the trails are tight and very unforgiving. There is a easy 2wd loop around and everything in between, so just make sure you know which trail you enter before you getting to that "Oh crap" moment.Thinking about doing Corral Canyon this weekend and camping for the night. Does anyone have advice/route recommendations?
Yeah I'm trying to research that now, not trying to do anything too varsity with the runner and possible getting stuck without anyone around. I was thinking about going from Corral Canyon->4 corners->Los Pinos->Espinosa->Corte Madera->Skye Valley->Lyons Valley Road. After checking out the Tierra Del Sol event page that looks like it may be the move. I'm guessing there's tons of camping in the vicinity of that in the desert.Make sure you know which trails you plan on running in Corral Canyon. Yeah that route minus 10 feet of Espinosa is easily Subaru-able. Bobcat Trail is a nice drive too. Camping is pretty close quarters, but you can easily do some dispersed in Cleveland NF or go further into Ocotillo.Yeah I'm trying to research that now, not trying to do anything too varsity with the runner and possible getting stuck without anyone around. Awesome! Thanks for chiming in, always nice to get the warm and fuzzy that it's good to go before I head up there and have to turn around because it's too technical.Yeah that route minus 10 feet of Espinosa is easily Subaru-able.
