Hi everyone,
It's time to upgrade! Thank you to our Benefactors and Supporters for supporting these upgrades!
We need to upgrade our server for a number of reasons.
1. We need a Staging Server and Dev environment, and we have run out of space.
2. We are running out of space
3. Our Server CPU load is higher than our Host Techs would like to see.
Here is the recommendation from our host:
"I would go with this one for sure:
Intel Dual Xeon E5-2620 v4 2100MHz 2 16 31.3GB 4 939GB SSD RAID10
A few reasons, it will give you 4 times the ram, so not only will it take care of your load now, but will make sure it can handle the extra load of the staging site. On top of that, it is a dual processor server meaning there are actually 16 total cores, 4 times what you have now, which will definitly help your server requests. And it gives you the 1TB of SSD Storage"
Downtime is scheduled for 04/17/17 3:00AM PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) and will take a few hours.
