Hi all. I'm new to the group and pretty newbie in general. The Anza trip in October sounds great! My 16 year old son would have a blast as my navigator. I've mainly just explored old mining and fire access roads by myself. I don't have any experience navigating technical trails with a group. I would like to find a good book on trail etiquette and basic group protocols if there is something like that. Would this trip be appropriate for a novice like me?

I'm a definite maybe, depending on my daughter's volleyball schedule. CIF playoffs are around that time. If I can make it, I'll go for sure.
