Hello, anybody of any overlanding places I go in Texas? It can’t be too technical, I have a 2wd Silverado, but it is raised and I have a locking diff. Just need to get good tires first. Thsnk you

Check out Dos Rios near Mason. There's nothing too technical out there, but it's a nice drive.

I will soon get my camper and will be spending weekends out at Big Shell and such. There are State natural areas that allow primitive camping around though.

can't wait to get back to Big Shell once the weather cools off. I guess the Ranger Station at the park is open?

Not sure, I didn't call to ask, It wont be till the end of the month for me at the earliest. I usually go after the Ranger station is closed anyhow. But I don't know if Federal land (the entire seashore) is closed due to COVID-19 though.
