Here are some photos from Cahills Crossing which is just down the road from where I live (30 min drive). This time of year they actively hunt and feed on mullet or any other fish that falls into their sharp trap.

Awesome pictures. How close were you? Do you have to be careful or are they so busy eating fish that they do not bother with you?

Glad you enjoy the photos.
You should ALWAYS be careful around Saltwater crocodiles, they are much more aggressive than any other crocodile in the world (including the Nile crocodile). The rule of thumb is atleast 5 metres away from the edge, but I normally stay further. Crocodiles are optimistic hunters and if you are close enough you are fair game. I use a long lense that allows me to get close to them with out being close :)
