This question to condensation under an RTT travel cover, when the tent is closed and stored. Living in the PNW and with my RTT in permanent residence on the top of my Discovery , I have noticed moisture build on the tent fabric. I open the RTT every 4 to 6 weeks to prevent this by airing out and drying.

I know this is more problematical as we have had a long wet fall and early winter with 30 to 55f temp swing, in the same day.

I will note this not a leak in the cover as it moves around, and I have checked.

Any suggestions beyond my current process ? I have considered big Silca bags, one on each edge.

We're in the same PacNW boat. I use a bunch of dry-packs and I very thoroughly treated every square inch of tent with Miracle Mist Long-Term Protectant. I know it sounds like a late-night ad pitch kind of product (it slices, it dices!), but the stuff really does seem to work.
