i have an older kolpin with a brass air valve and a nice flexible reversible nozzle,,, the thing is bomber. a flat 4+ gallon model,,, i see the new ones are all like the walmart crap now... are the roto pax better than the kilpin,,, as far as flat style,,, also found this on ebay.... scared to buy it,,, has anyone?

I don’t yet own either brands, but from what I’ve read online, the rotopax are quite thicker than the other brands so they don’t swell as bad as the others causing them to leak. Either way you have to vent any them pretty much every day if they are filled as the heat will make them swell. You usually get what you pay for with these things. I will be getting the rotopax even though they are more expensive. The container is not really the expensive part, it’s the mounts that drain the pocket book. Try looking on OfferUp for better deals (I always check there first) I’ve seen pax with mounts for as low as $60. That’s as much as I know about them, hope it helps. I’m sure someone else has more experience with them.
