I was needing a new shovel that would be all purpose in our adventures. Something to dig us out, dig around, dig to bury, etc. as we all do. I searched and really had my heart set on the Krazy Beaver shovel. But as I always do, I kept searching and looking and searching and looking.
I ran across the Root Slayer on Amazon.
I really like the shape of the head (as I call it - the part that digs) and loved the round handle so you can grab it in any direction. I am left handed so it always seems that handles face the wrong direction. I purchased it from Amazon and it arrived.
The teeth are so sharp on the sides that it had to have a plastic covering. The length, weight and overall size are perfect. I love it.
