Hey guys,
I have the Gaia and the garmins etc but looking for a good road atlas. I like the national geographic adventure edition but really looking for something that has BLM land boundaries and more fire roads . Using the tablet to see the big picture is not so easy for my partner and she prefers maps she can hold.

Suggestions?

Seems like Delorme used to be the gold standard or preference, but I compared them some time ago and I really like the Benchmark, or National Geographic ones better. More detail, easier to use.
I like paper too, although I count on my InReach and Earthmate software for primary navigation, I use the paper atlas' for bench wheeling or planning a trip.

I just wish Benchmark put out atlases of all states ... But they're great when I go out West.

Same here, Benchmark has a little more info and details over Delorme for a state altas when it comes to trails and smaller roads. But I have a National Geographic addiction, although they only cover NPS land and some state park land for the most part.

I have an old Rand McNally from the 90's and it's ragged and falling apart, but it still goes on any journey over a few hours "just in case".........

I carry a Rand McNally, Delorme and Sportsman's connection All outdoors Atlases. Each has it's pluses and minuses but used together really get the job done.
