I’ve been looking for reliable info on the Burro Creek cut off from the Rim Rocker. We will have 3 lightly modified 80 series LCs and a heavily modified Chevy Colorado. The Colorado is my concern- it has heavy rear leafs and only a 2” lift up front. We’ve already spent a long time winching the Chevy and once having to turn around . So how rough is this Burro Creek cut off ? Thanks !

Which part of that cut off? The western portion after it leaves Divide Road?

What time of year will you be there?

Well, I live about an hour to 1.5 hrs away, so, I may need to join you, LOL!

I have NOT driven that section......I just Google Earth flyovered that area/route. Knowing the zone and terrain around there, I'd guesstimate that you'll be fine.....unless it rains. We have some nasty bentonite clay soils around here that are the stickiest/slickest substance known to mankind during and for a few hours after a rain. The majority of that section look to be of little concern. It is the first couple of miles after Divide Road that could pose a bit of a challenge, but likely are ok as well.....if dry. You have also left me enough time to go pre-run it for you!

I seriously think you'll be fine. I can ask on some local-ish forums if you like.

I just threw out the question to a local to that area dirt biker group, I'll let you know what I hear.
