A little mud on the last trip...

This is a picture of my K2500 from a couple years ago. It's pulled duty on several trips, including a couple trips to the OBX and Gatlinburg. With 290k miles on it, the little L31 5.7L isn't a beast but I was still pulling my car trailer with a Monte Carlo on it a couple weeks ago at 75mph with little issue. I actually think the old girl runs better loaded than empty, I know she certainly rides better loaded.

Almost done with the rig. The ECU just needs to learn how to be a Toyota again. Soon I will be out there in Northern Cali cruisin. Heard there is a nice little Yota meet in the Natomas area. hopefully i can roll out there and meet some locals.

I don't know many folks up near Rushylvania, and Jones doesn't sound familiar. The family farm was on the SE side of Bellefontaine, and now is right on the edge of town.



Not much to explore. Indian Lake is interesting, with the cottages out on all the islands. The back roads along the Madriver Valley are where I learned to drive sporty cars, with lots of blind hills, off-camber turns, etc. But now there are lots of houses in the hills that were just farms. Most of the roads in the areas are straight grids of asphalt or chip-n-seal. No gravel or off road places to go that I know of.
