I saw so many nice overland rigs in Iceland. Here are a couple I took pictures of. Some are set up for driving on the ice glaciers.

Both of these are works in progress. Making a few more mods to the '14 Subaru (put the wheels on today!) and just picked up the '18 XVenture trailer last week.
Should have them both ready to go by the end of the month. I am looking forward to not have the Outback packed to the gills on my road trips!

I love Appalachia... but I really want to go spend some time out west exploring. I want dirt miles, not highway miles. I may just have to ship my rig. I can't take the time off work to drive out there, explore like I want, and then drive back.
Only like 20 more years until I can retire... like 30 more years until I can pay my student loans back...
