Here are some photos of my 2017 Land Cruiser 76 Series. First shot is the truck itself - a 4.5 litre V8 turbo diesel with manual transmission, cruise control, front & rear diff locks, bull bar with 12,000lb winch, light bar and driving lights.

The second shot is the back of the rig - home built using 19mm builder's ply and covered with boot liner carpet. The "shelf" is held down by turnbuckles attached to the standard tie down points in each corner. Under the shelf (from left to right) are battery operated LED lights in brown bag, snow peak small fire pit & charcoal at front with two tool bags behind, then two chairs and lastly another brown bag of tent pegs, ropes and a hammer. Then the grey box is bolted to the shelf - 2.5 gallons of water on the left, in the box is the kitchen and pantry and on the right recovery gear. Behind the box is the table, stretcher, sleeping bag and pillow. The four MaxTrax go on the roof with the Oztent RV3 while the 30 second awning is permanently mounted on the passenger side of the rack.

As set up, I am self contained for 2 to 3 days on my own but longer if I have access to fresh clean water.P5240237.jpgP5240241.jpg

The track was mostly flat, but everyone has to start somewhere right?
