Repairing a Hardshell RTT

  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

I bought a used CVT Hardshell RTT. It is the type that you crank it to raise or lower it. Recently two of the four brackets that raise and lower it broke. What would be the best material to glue the metal brackets to the fiberglass shell?

Reach out to the manufacturer. It all depends on the surfaces to bond. My go too (very carefully) is JB Weld. Again, consult the manufacturer first and foremost.
