I'm about ready to pull the trigger on the REDARC amorphous 112w solar kit. After researching, I decided amorphous fit my particular needs best: productivity rates at morning and afternoon. I tend to be on the move mid day and unable to able to capture ideal light at the times which monocrystalline panels prefer from my understanding.

Does anyone have this unit? Did you install the controller under the hood near your second battery? Do you just pop the hood and connect the Anderson to let the controller begin charging the auxiliary battery or is there anything I'm missing?

Thank you for your input!

Find a location for the Anderson plug on the front bumper it's easier to access weatherproof and won't suffer temp melt down
