[Polaris Overland]

This is a great resource for travellers when outwith their own regions. On our long trips in 2017 and again in 2018 we called out to OB members and other platforms for help getting a decent mechanic particularly for our blown head gasket in Greece where we needed to be sure work would be done properly. The result was an OB member did the work in Thessaloniki.

As I understand from Michael the new OB App that is coming out soon with mapping will have the facility to add places in the same way iOverlander works. Whilst we did and still do use iOverlander a lot it is important to understand the information is only as good as the person putting it in.

This couldn't have popped up at a more appropriate time, the steering on the defender as stiffened up and become notchy, I'm taking it to a LR dealer nearby tomorrow for inspection but they cannot work on it for 3 weeks! Need someone near to Potsdam if any OB members are nearby and know of someone independent.
