Rare SoCal snow!

Snow so close to home...had to skip my desert plans! My wife and I took the fur kids to Thomas Mtn near Lake Hemet. Bypassed all the minivan crowds by heading partway up the trail. We were solo so only went far enough to get away from that situation. The dogs went nuts running in fresh powder! We had lunch then went exploring. Geez I thought that was my secret area! I have even there a time or two in the snow it’s pretty sweet!

YEAH IT LOOKED AWESOME! We drove up the road next to Hurkey Creek CG...on the way back down, great views of the lake. No one was on it so it was fully glassed over with reflections of the snow.
