I used slot channel from Home Depot, slot channel 90* brackets, modified slot slide nuts and bolted together with grade 8 bolts with lock washers. I used a spray on truck paved coating on crossbars. I’ve be 1500 miles on this setup so far and we have been down some pretty rough roads and rutted out trails. No issues what so ever

This is a great and simple solution for Ram owners. Not enough love for the bed option that I have seen. You didn't show a photo, but I assume that the boxes still function?

FYI: Front Runner makes a low profile bed rack for ram box trucks if you ever decide you want to go that route. I just installed one.
