I sold my Jeep Rubicon and bought a Ram 1500. I sincerely miss my Jeep, but I wasn't doing enough hard core off-roading to justify the Rubicon price tag so I sold it and bought a Ram 1500. The Ram seemed a bit more practical for camping trips since we always take people and their gear with us. I will say that this truck's handling, braking, power, and interior ergonomics are significantly better than my Jeeps, but it doesn't feel as robust off-road. It seriously rides like a Mercedes at 80mph on the freeway.

Here is a picture of my old Jeep. I don't want to get as much money into this truck as I had in this Jeep. Also gas in California is $4.00 so I don't know if I will be lifting the truck and adding big tires anytime soon. I may just keep it stock and use it to go camping as much as possible.
